Rep. @timburchett warns Democrats are moving sharply left, telling @kayleighmcenany on @JesseBWatters that potential 2028 contenders Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris and AOC would each be “a disaster for this country.”

Up to $100,000 for a sham marriage and a shot at a green card.

The DOJ says 11 people have been charged in a massive, decade-long marriage fraud network that allegedly connected mostly Chinese nationals with U.S. citizens in more than 1,000 fake unions.

Authorities say the operation went far beyond paperwork. Couples allegedly staged wedding photos, dressed for fake ceremonies and were coached ahead of immigration interviews to make the marriages look legitimate. U.S. citizens were paid as much as $30,000 to participate.

Prosecutors say the network even recruited at least 14 active-duty U.S. Army soldiers stationed in Kentucky.

Officials believe the scheme took in tens of millions of dollars, with U.S. Attorney Jamie McDonald calling it one of the largest marriage fraud schemes charged in U.S. history.
